Stories To Tell and the Complete Author’s Program (CAP) is our unique idea; the culmination of our combined careers as published authors, writing experts and teachers. After many years of instructing struggling writers, we asked, what can we do so that anyone without a lot of writing experience can create a professional book? How can we help people to create a book they will be proud to share?

Our answer was to combine our writing expertise with new technological innovations. Exciting new software technologies make it possible for us to produce professional books of the same quality as commercial publishers. Books are more beautiful than they have ever been! Photographs and illustrations have revolutionized the way we see books today.

Our goal is to enable authors to enjoy the creative process of planning and developing a manuscript, without the struggle of facing the blank page that writers dread. We offer guidance so that you have a plan before embarking on producing a book. As writers and lovers of books, we made our process flexible, so that any author could use it to make a book uniquely their own. That’s why our Author’s Guide contains a variety of planning exercises and checklists that you can use to choose and shape the contents of your book.

You won’t need a computer or typewriter. In fact, all you need is a phone to record the stories, and an address to correspond with us through the mail. Because we handle the technical work of computer software programs and online printing services, it’s a simple process for the author – tell your stories by phone, send your photos, and let your editor do the rest!

Your Own Editor

The most valuable service we provide is the relationship between editor and author. Having a supportive expert who understands your goals and who has the skill to analyze your manuscript is invaluable to a writer. Each of our authors works with a personal editor, who sees their book through the process from beginning to end.
