"To be faithful to ourselves, we must keep our ancestors and posterity within reach and grasp of our thoughts and affections, living in the memory and retrospect of the past, and hoping with affection and care for those who are to come after us."
Daniel Webster (1782-1852) |

We're Your Guide to Creating Memoirs and Personal History Books
Our authors tell us that creating their book is one of the most interesting, rewarding activities they've ever done. Why? Choosing which stories to tell and sorting through photos is an opportunity to examine your life and to reexamine memories you haven't visited in years. You may find yourself on a more meaningful journey than you expected.
We know how difficult it is to complete a book. That's why we developed a method that guides authors past the pitfalls. The core of our program is to eliminate the challenges of writing. Our authors don't have to write, and they don't need a computer. Instead, record your stories over the phone. Telling stories is much, much easier than writing, and you're more skilled at it -- you've been doing it all your life! Recording captures your “voice”, which even professional writers strive (often unsuccessfully) to achieve in print. Your readers will say the stories “sound just like you".
Another way we've made the process easier is by taking care of all the technical aspects of creating a book. We know how to transcribe your recorded stories. We know how to scan and place your photos and illustrations into a book. We'll help you to choose and shape your stories, and we know how to edit your text so it's grammatically correct, so you don't have to “watch your words”. Finally, we manage all the computer files and programs needed to design the book and format it for a commercial printer. It's reassuring to know at the outset that you're following a process that cannot go wrong. Our authors complete their books successfully – we guarantee it!

There was never yet an uninteresting life. Such a thing is an impossibility. Inside the dullest exterior, there is a drama, a comedy, and a tragedy. --Mark Twain (1835-1910) |
