Create Your Book in Six Easy Steps

step 1: Reflect

To get started, sort through your memories, photos and documents. Try out the fun exercises in our guide book to generate ideas.

Step 2: Organize

Next, plan the order of your stories. You can arrange them in the order they happened, or by their topics, such as "career challenges" or "raising children the right way". Or you may choose to simply tell your stories, without organizing them into chapters at all. We give you examples to help you decide.

Step 3: Record

Call our toll-free number at any time to tell a story; as long or as short as you like. Your recorded story will be typed and sent to your editor.

Step 4: Revise

Next, your stories are combined into a manuscript. Your editor will send you a copy, and call you to discuss it. You can make changes if you like.

Step 5: Edit

Your editor will make all the corrections and oversee the design of the book. Your photos will be included in the final version, too. You'll get a copy to check over.

Step 6: Print

We'll send your completed book to our commercial printer, and then deliver it to you. Additional copies are very affordable. If you like, order more than one and we'll send copies to your friends and family. Then, plan a party to celebrate, and share your book with even more readers.
